OOTW

hey! How was everyone's first week back to school, or work (or for the unfortunate few, their second week!) ? It was a pretty boring week for me, a bunch of introductory lectures, "say a few words about yourself to the class", and of course the reading of the syllabus haha. Since I actually don't have any morning classes this term ( hell yeaah! ) I had enough time before heading out the door to snap a few pictures of my outfit to share with you all (:

Here it is ~ ahh, it's actually quite embarrassing looking at these pictures of yourself, so just ignore the fact that I look so awkward on some days!! I also didn't bother taking pictures of my outfits on the weekend because on Saturday I had scouts, and unless you want to know how to hide a hideous uniform from being seen I don't think it'd be of much interest to you guys. & on Sunday... I'll just be honest, I was too lazy hehee ! 

On Monday, I had an interview before school so that's why I look slightly more formal! I'm wearing a sheer white button vest from H&M, under a black cardigan I got from Zellers ( brand is Pure by alfred sung ). Belt is also from H&M.  I got the bag at Ross in the U.S, not sure what brand it is. Shoes are from Aldo. I like how the belt adds a pop of color to the outfit and makes it less boring. The straps and buckle on the bag makes it have a "school" / "work" feel and matches the slightly more formal look that I was going for. 

yyess, my face is cut off, NOT because I looked like crap and I purposely cropped it off though! I just really need to buy a tripod, instead of risking the life of my camera every time. Annnyways, on to the outfit. I'm wearing the same cardigan as before, a floral tee from urban outfitters ( brand is BDG ), Skinnys from Top Shop and Airwalk boots. I got my bag in HK, in one of those mini boutiques so it doesn't have a brand. & the scarf, I knitted myself~ Do you see a trend here, or is it just me ? Another totally monochromatic outfit with just a bit of color from the teeshirt. I tucked the teeshirt in because I think those skinny jeans looks better high-waisted and also gives the illusion that I have longer legs since I didn't wear heeled shoes. The scarf was for warmth and also made the outfit more causal.

oh HEY, more colour! haha, I've got to really show you guys my LEGIT fifty+ shades of grey closet one day! So, here I'm wearing a hoodie from Stitches ( brand is SWS ), underneath I think it's just a tank top from forever21, same skinnys from Top Shop as above and long black suede knee high boots that I got from payless. My bag is again from HK (hong kong..just in case people didn't know the abbreviation). Necklace and the black&white wrap bracelet is also from HK, the studded bracelet is from Top Shop. I think I was just really lazy (agaiin...) that day and decided to just throw on a hoodie. I love this hoodie because it contains 3 things; british flag, floral, and the color mint <3  Put some accessories on to finish the look and voilaaa! Oh yeah, and just in case you were wondering how come I can go to school with just a handbag. well to answer that question, I'd like to say that I can go to school with no bag even if I wanted to ! Just because on Wednesday I only have one really useless lecture that I don't really need to take notes in heh.

I remember it was really sunny on this day! I think that's why I wanted to wear something so bright hahah, doesn't that happen to you guys ? the weather affecting your mood and what you wear ? well anyways, most of the items, you should be able to recognize now... I don't really like to wear different everything every day! Hoodie is from the thrift store actually! But originally it's from TNA. White hollister vneck tee, with a forever 21 tank under. Shorts are from HK. Another causal outfit, I think you'll be seeing a lot more of that from me. I have a much more causal and tom boy-ish style then eva or karena as Im sure you guys have noticed !

TGIF! man, was I glad it was friday~ I'm wearing a heart jumper from forever21, underneath is a tank also from f21. Giordano jeans. Bag is from HK, Studded bracelet from Top Shop and chain bracelet from Muse. Shoes are again from Aldo. I love how all the shades complement each other since the jumper is a slightly greyish blue, dark blue jeans and grey booties. The bracelets add a perfect touch of bling to otherwise another simple outfit (:

Of course, living in Vancouver and the past week having been so cold, I wore a thick jacket on top of all my outfits to stay warm. School can be really time consuming and more often than not, I would start being careless and sloppy with how I look on school days. But I think, looking good is the first step in feeling good. So if you just spend an extra 10 mins to put on something that you look good in ( even if it's a simple hoodie! ) you will feel that much better during the day knowing that you don't look like you're in your PJS!
