Success Stories

Google Chrome ads are probably the only ads I tend to not skip over before my very much anticipated youtube video (haha). They can be pretty inspirational, and emotional too, showcasing real stories from real people..which can be a stark contrast between typical commercials where the main character is usually an actor in a scripted situation.

This one in particular caught my eye, maybe because I've always wanted a Cambridge Satchel myself, but I never knew the story behind the company. Little did I know that such a fashion craze started off simply from the kitchen table of a mom who wanted to earn money in order to afford to send her children off to private school.

Success stories like these really give me that extra boost to be successful in my own way someday. You can start off from nothing, and still make your way up to the top. And if you're lucky, you may even be apart of something just as iconic.

So here's to a job interview outfit, as one of my New Year's resolutions is to get a job this year. And hopefully, I'll be successful in this first step I'm taking towards putting myself out there as I'm seriously horrible at interviews! There's just something about knowing they're analytically observing your every move and word that freaks me out lol..also the fact that I'm the worst at public speaking doesn't do much help either (stutter, stutttter, stutttteeerr). But nevertheless, I got to face my fears and venture out of my comfort zone in order to succeed. Let's do this!

BLAZER: Aritzia
BLOUSE: Forever 21
SKIRT: H&M
CABLE KNIT TIGHTS: Gap
BOOTIES: Naturalizer
BAG: H&M

I mean, forgive me.. it was 3am and I needed a break from my attempt to look professional haha.

Until next time!
