2012 Playlist

Happy new years everyone! It's only been 5 days, but I hope 2013 has been good to you so far :). As typical as it may sound, it really doesn't feel like a new year to me... or maybe it just hasn't settled in yet. Anyways, as a wrap up to 2012 I wanted to share with you all a playlist I created reflecting on the past year for me. I'm sure many of you can relate that 2012 has been a year of ups and downs, accompanied with lots of changes. I have a terrible memory, but some of the major things that happened or there was a big hype about was kony2012, the USA elections, earthquakes ( which still hasn't occurred in vancity yet!! ), the end of the world ( if you're reading this, then obviously both you and I are alive haha ), and uhh...honestly that's all I can think of ! What were some of the major things that you remember from 2012 ? 

I really had to rack my brain for memories from all the way back in the beginning of the year...in the end, I ended up cheating and looking back at pictures that I've taken hehe. These two songs really depict how the year started for me; up beat, without a care and wanting to start off fresh.

Notice how eerie and dark it got so quickly? well these 3 songs describe nicely how my spring 2012 went :(. Everyone goes through a rough time during the year I'm sure, and those months were it for me.

At the end of May, my friend and I went on a trip to Hong Kong and Korea together, I think the 2 months we spent in Asia were the highlights of my year. Therefore...YAY for happy happy songs!

Fall 2012 had the most ups and downs. During these months I think I learned a lot about myself, and gained new perspective on many aspects of my life.

To end off the year, I chose these two songs as they both perfectly sum up how I feel.

That's my playlist for 2012, hopefully most of you can relate to some of the songs I've chosen! & some of them are actually quite upbeat surprisingly ( lets just say I'm not considered the most happy go lucky person ) haha~
