Like how I briefly mentioned in my last haul post, matching the colour of your shoes (heeled shoes are a plus!) with your bottoms helps elongate the look of your legs. Whether it be wearing nude heels with shorts/skirts/dresses or black shoes with black/dark bottoms, your legs and feet sort of "merge" together, creating an elongated illusion.
Ever suffer with creasing when applying your tinted lipblam or lipstick? To prevent this, apply your lip product of choice using downward strokes.
The one thing I hate about wearing tights/stockings is that they are extremely prone to breaking due to their thin material. Once you begin to notice a small hole forming, the best thing to do in order to prevent any further enlargement of the hole or to possibly even seal the hole (if it's small enough) is to apply clear nail polish on it and let it dry (it's washing machine proof too!).

So I get oily around my face pretty easily. When you're in a public restroom, instead of wasting your money and using oil blotting sheets, toilet seat covers actually absorb the oil on your face just as well, and it's free! (I personally use the middle section that you won't use anyways to blot, and the section around it to cover the seat, aha tmi?)
I love the look of glitter nail polish. However, after applying it for the first time, I quickly realized how difficult it is to remove. I initially knew of the wrapping-tin-foil-and-cotton-balls-soaked-in-nail-polish-remover trick, but thought it was too much of a hassle to use. Now, I use felt with nail polish remover to remove my glitter polishes. It works just as fast as removing regular nail polish, where the texture of the felt acts as if it's "abrading" the glitter off your nails // When your favourite nail polish is getting old and begins to thicken, add a few drops of nail polish remover into the bottle and shake. This will thin out the nail polish and allow you to continue using it instead of throwing it away // I discovered this trick when I had to wash my hands while my nail polish was still in that tedious process of drying. By running your hands under the coldest tempurature setting on your tap, it actually hardens the nail polish and allows it to dry faster. Just make sure to do this when the nail polish is at least partially dry first! This also works by submerging your nails into a bowl of ice water.
I hate losing my bobby pins. In order to prevent this, I began storing them inside my mirror where it easily beats placing it randomly inside my bag where it evidently, eventually gets lost.
That's all for now! Let me know your beauty tricks if you have any, or whether you're interested in any further posts containing tips and tricks :)
